Here is some information for Real Estate sales in the Worthington area comparing January 2010 and January 2009. Please note this is not just Worthington “proper”, but encompasses the entire Worthington School district. We would be happy to provide more specific information if you desire.
During the month of January, 2009 there were 22 properties sold with an average sale price of $161,399 and an average days on market of 81. The lowest sale price was $38,000 and the highest was $283,900.
During the month of January, 2010 there were 26 properties sold with an average sale price of $201,171 and an average days on market of 108. The lowest sale price was $60,000 and the highest was $642,500.

During the month of January, 2009 there were 45 properties sold with an average sale price of $159,948 and an average days on market of 82. The lowest sale price was $55,000 and the highest was $476,000.
During the month of January, 2010 there were 47 properties sold with an average sale price of $169,611 and an average days on market of 81. The lowest sale price was $42,000 and the highest was $392,400.
These are very similar year over year statistics with the exception of a strong increase in the average sale price. Good news!!
